APRIL BARKBOX REVEAL!

APRIL 14
We spent the weekend landscaping more of the front yard. Otis worked very hard supervising…

APRIL 4. BESTIES, OTIS AND BUZZ!

MAR 31. NASCAR!

MARCH BARKBOX!!!
If you’re not familiar with Bark box, it is a subscription for dogs with toys and treats. You get a box monthly with a surprise theme, 2 treat bags, 1 chew, and 2 toys. I bought the 1 year subscription and got a deal to receive an extra toy in each box after the first month. I am already in love with it! It was killing me not knowing what the theme was going to be, lol!
Otis and Pippin got their first Barkbox yesterday! The theme was Secrets of the Rainfurrest! Pippin quickly stole the toys right out of the box and Otis’s sniffer went straight to the treats and chew. The chew was a big tree frog, so cute!

Mar 26…KAWS!
Ok so I had no idea what KAWS was when I got Otis but I knew it was special enough to have it engraved on his tag so I had to look into it. Not gonna lie, I’m still slightly confused on exactly what they are (other than the action figures are crazy expensive that I found, lol). Anyways, I wanted to get Otis something special that had that connection. Ramie, I hope your son sees this because I bought it specially for him…πI will get pics of Otis with his snoopy tonight when he goes to bed π

MAR 19 SURPRISE AND REVEAL…
Oh that Otis, he loves nothing more than laying outside on the turf and going on his walks. However, I can’t always spend hours outside with him like I would like too (my laundry is calling). I had to figure out a way for him to be able to be outside and me able to do housework…hmmm…SURPRISE, his own private yard was the answer! I got to work this weekend on making Otis his own magical safe area outside. What better place to construct it than directly outside the french doors into the side yard. I have been prepping the ground out there for a few months so Charlotte and I could plant our own “Secret Garden”, but Otis trumps a garden. After talking to Char about Otis’s needs and creating our garden somewhere else in the yard she totally agreed that Otis needed his own “safe” yard. Of course she was so excited to help! We worked from morning until night but got it done and I’m pretty sure Otis couldn’t be happier! We built the wood fence and Char picked red for the color (it beat her first suggestion of rainbow colored). We painted his dog house to make it “fashionable” as Char calls it. The colors she picked out were “French Blue” because she says, “anything french is fancy, mom” and I forget the name of the yellow, lol. We included different textures to the ground so he will learn the layout easier and made the ground transitions as smooth as we could to keep him from tripping. Also, the side yard stays shaded on one half so he has a place to get out of the sun. I think it’s pretty awesome for our little guy. My hubby is in love with the yard almost as much as he is in love with Otis, lol! Jeff says he can’t handle the amount of cuteness Otis contains! I seriously have the Best. Husband. Ever.
Now, the reveal…

And yes, he has already found the fire hydrant and made it “his”, lol!
MARCH 16…
I found this new chewy bone for Otis and he loves it! It’s sort of interactive because of the different sides to it. Every time Otis turned it he thought he had a new bone, lol! And the different sides of it help him hold it betterπ

Here is another new bone that he got and he loves it too!

March 15…Auntie Lisa and πΆ”All my single ladies”πΆ…
Otis finally got to meet his Aunt Lisa! She is in love, of course! Unfortunately, she was out of town and didn’t get to meet him until now.

In addition to meeting Aunt Lisa, he got to meet her chickens and bunny (or as my brother in law calls them, “all his single ladies πΆ”) “Thing #1″(we wont talk about what happened to Thing#2, no they didn’t eat her), “Mrs. Spicy Cheeto Puff”, “Noon”, “Peanut Butter”, and “Bunny”…

He loved sniffing around in there and was very interested in the sounds! I love these pics.
