Ok so I had no idea what KAWS was when I got Otis but I knew it was special enough to have it engraved on his tag so I had to look into it. Not gonna lie, I’m still slightly confused on exactly what they are (other than the action figures are crazy expensive that I found, lol). Anyways, I wanted to get Otis something special that had that connection. Ramie, I hope your son sees this because I bought it specially for him…💖I will get pics of Otis with his snoopy tonight when he goes to bed 😁

  3. Awe…. that’s awesome. I love kaws figures. I almost named Otis “Kaws” along with, “Jerry Cow III.” Indie was to be Jerry Cow II. In memory of Jerry Cow, a dog I found, named, & had for a few days before finding the owner… Kaws was the first name I thought of when i first got him. The Kaws figures having X X over there eyes reminded me of him. His original name was Mr. tinkle I believe. It then became Doggo when he got his eyes removed. When I got him I didn’t like “doggo” & he didn’t either. Otis seemed to fit him best. Kaws I decided would be his nickname. I’m glad you kept that with him

    1. I absolutely love the name Otis! It fits him so well, I’m glad you changed it! The way you think of Kaws, I think of the movie Coraline with the button eyes, lol.
      I’m so glad you responded to his blog, please check back often or “follow” for updates.
      I bought him a Barkbox subscription and we should be getting his first box tomorrow in the mail, I’m so excited!
      Next time I’m in Tucson or if you ever come to Sierra Vista we should meet up so you can see Otis! That would be awesome for him and I am all about you staying in contact with him! I hope the transition hasn’t been too terribly hard for you. I promise he will always be taken care of. Thank you so much for letting us have him in our lives, he has made such a big impact on us. Talk to you soon!
